Sudan reimposes entry visa on Syrian citizens
Altaghyeer, Khartoum, Syrian citizens will need visa to enter Sudan, as per an order issued Today by the Head of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
The new order cancels a decree issued in 2011 which exempted Syrians from entry visa to the country.
The Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Al-Tarifi Idris, directed respective authorities to take the necessary administrative and technical measures to implement the order.
Ex- President Omar Al-Bashir had issued several orders exempting Syrians citizens affected by war from entry visas, and to be treated as Sudanese citizens in education and health services.
