President of the Republic of Uganda Receives Agar
On Tuesday evening, the President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, received Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) member, Malik Agar, and his accompanying delegation.

The Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maryam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, said in a press statement that Agar congratulated Museveni on securing a new presidential term.
He also wished him and the Ugandan people progress and prosperity.
Al-Mahd indicated that Malik Agar briefed the President of the Republic of Uganda of the formation of the new government in Sudan.
The government will embody a partnership between the military, civilians and peace partners.
Agar stressed that everyone is working to achieve peace in Sudan, to be a driving force for stability in neighboring countries and the African continent.
The TSC member also informed Museveni of the Paris Conference arrangements and confirmed Sudan’s participation in it.
Al-Mahdi said that Agar assured Museveni’s vision for the second filling of the Renaissance Dam considers all parties’ agreement.
Museveni also stressed that treatment of the Nile water issue should be strategic, leading to broader horizons of cooperation without hostile confrontations.
Al-Mahdi pointed out that Museveni expressed his thanks and appreciation to the government of the transitional period.
He also wished the Sudanese people more stability and progress.
