The Sudanese Meteorological Authority indicated that the states of Khartoum, Kassala, Gedaref, Sennar, Gezira, White Nile and Blue Nile in Sudan were affected by moderate-to-heavy rain.

The Sudan Meteorological Authority expected moderate-to-heavy and light rain in 7 states in the center and east of the country.
Those states include Khartoum, Kassala, Gedaref, Sennar, Jazira, White Nile, and Blue Nile.
The authority indicated that cumulus clouds and thunderstorms were observed over the Ethiopian plateau, as well as both Kassala and Gedaref states.
In its daily statement, the meteorological authority based its predictions for Saturday’s weather according to the development of these clouds and their movement to the west, east, and central Sudan.
The statements also hinted at the possibility of light rain in areas neighboring the aforementioned areas.
