Congolese delegation arrives in Khartoum

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Christophe Lutundula, arrived to the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, on Wednesday.

Alotondola is heading a high-level delegation from the Congolese presidency and foreign affairs, along with an expert from the African Union, who was welcomed at Khartoum airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maryam al-Sadiq.

The visit of the Congolese minister comes as part of a tour he is taking to include Sudan, Ethiopia and Egypt to discuss measures for resuming the negotiation process on the Renaissance Dam.

It is expected, according to SUNA news agency, that the Sudanese and Congolese sides will hold joint meetings at the headquarter
