Soba detainees announce hunger strike
The Soba inamtes have decided to escalate their protest against the putschist council through announcing a food strike.

The group of Sudanese inmates currently incarcerated in Soba has declared an open food strike.
Khaled Omer Youssuf and Muhammad al-Faki, two members of the former government currently placed under arrest in Soba, are leading the hunger strike.
The Doctors Office in Sudan, in a statement, said that the detained former Hamdok government officials were being targeted with more physical and psychological harm.
he statement condemned the security forces for “barging into people’s homes uninvited” and arresting them.
It attributed this behavior to the “tyrant’s fear of their imminent downfall.”
The Doctor’s office called on human rights organizations to condemn these practises and support the Sudanese plight for freedom.
On Monday, the Sudanese Professionals Association, a leading actor in the Sudanese revolution, estimated that around 100 people are imprisoned in Soba.
