The official spokesman for the General Coordination of Displaced Persons and Refugees, Adam Rijal, said that the armed militia was besieging Mukjar with armored cars, motorcycles, and camels from all sides, and that they expect them to attack the area at any moment.

Last Saturday, according to a statement released by the coordination, two armed men had looted 27 heads of livestock, one of them was killed while being pursued by the police, and the other was transferred to the Mukjar local prison.

“The family of the dead man demanded the police pay blood money, and the militias gathered in front of the police buildings demanded the release of the second accused, or else they would attack the area,” the statement added.

The police later released the accused, but the armed militia continues to besiege Mukjar and demand the citizen pay the blood money, according to the General Coordination of Displaced Persons and Refugees.
