Dr. Mutassim Ja’far, head of Sudan’s football federation, received on Tuesday Gen. Augustino Maduot Parek, head of the South Sudanese federation.
Gen. Madot said a Memorandum of Understanding between the two federations was to be signed after highlighting key interest areas for both countries.
Ja’far commended the healthy relations between the two federations, adding that he was all-in for working with the South Sudanese federation to help develop the game for both.
Gen. Augustino in turn admired the hospitality before saying that Sudan and South Sudan were “brothers” and “one nation.”
The South Sudanese delegate hoped Sudan would be able to help develop the game in South Sudan by offering training and helping develop management protocols, refereeing, and football media.
