Sudan authorities suppress Sunday’s protests, injuring 99
The coup authorities’ security apparatus in Sudan met Sunday’s Khartoum protests with excessive repression, resulting in the injuring of “99” demonstrators to varying degrees.

The Socialist Doctors Association “Rush” said in a field report that the coup authorities used rubber bullets, stun grenades, tear gas, and other means to injure the 99 demonstrators in Khartoum.
On Sunday, thousands of Sudanese took to the street in response to calls for a “millions march for the martyrs” destined fo the presidential palace in central Khartoum.
The protesters gathered from the Bashdar station towards Al-Qasr Street, which witnessed clashes between the demonstrators and the security forces.
Meanwhile, Bahri demonstrators moved towards the Mak Nimr Bridge, which was closed off by the authorities, and were violently prevented from reaching Khartoum.
The coup police used tear gas canisters, sound bombs, and even live bullets against the peaceful demonstrators.
