Sudan Doctors Committee: 140 injured on final October march

The Sudan Doctors Committee revealed several harrowing injuries among the 140 injured during the October 30th millions marches.

The Sudan Doctors Committee announced that 140 protesters were injured during the crackdown on the October 30th protest march, among them 11 eye-injuries.

The committee reported that rubber bullets and tear gas was used extensively by the security forces during their crackdown.

It was also revealed that one protester had suffered injuries sustained by a firearm.

Injuries that were treated on the street by a first-aid team were not included in the report as per the committee’s statement.

On October 30th, the streets of Khartoum saw many people march in demand for an end to the October 25th, 2021 coup that saw Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan climb to power after toppling down the civilian government the army partnered with during the transitional period.
