Wad Madani: Altaghyeer

Eyewitnesses confirmed to Altaghyeer that fighting between the SAF and RSF renewed on Sunday on the areas surrounding Sinnar Sugar Factory in which the SAF carried air raids to prevent incursion of the RSF to Sinnar town.

The fighting caused injuries among the civilians and damaged parts of the sugar factory.

The RSF advanced to the area after entering Wad Madani, the second largest city in Sudan, five days ago.

Clashes between the SAF and RSF also reported in al-Hag Abdallah and Wad al-Hadad villages in the south eastern part of Sinnar.

Situations inside Sinnar town are relatively calm except for panic cases among the citizens, Sinnar Youth Alliance said on X.

The area also witnessed a wave of displacement.
