Hemedti visits Djibouti, meets Hamdouk in Addis
The regional tour of leader of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti” has taken him to Kampala and Addis Ababa where he met with the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and Ethiopian Premier Abiye Ahmed respectively.

Djibouti’s President Ismael Omer Guelleh met on Sunday with the leader of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti”.
Hemedti is planned to return to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to meet the former Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdouk who is currently chair of the civilian democratic forces’ coordination committee, reffered to as “Taqaddum”, informed sources told Altaghyeer.
Djibouti is the third leg of Hemedti’s regional tour which took him to Kampala and Addis Ababa where he met with the Ugandan President Museveni and Ethiopian Premier Abiye Ahmed respectively.
Hemedti wrote on X platform that he met with President Guelleh and that he briefed him on the developments in the Sudan situation and “our vision on how to stop the war and reach a conclusive solution that will end the suffering of our great people”.
Djibouti, in its capacity as a Chair of current IGAD session, will host a crucial meeting next week to pave the way for organizing a Sudanese dialogue aimed at ending the Sudan crisis, announced Djibouti’s Foreign Minister Mahmmoud Ali Youssef on Saturday.
