The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attacked a market place in centeral western Sudan killing and injuring score of people before looting the shops.

At least 9 civilians and three affiliates of the Sudan People Liberation Movement/North were killed when the Rapid Support Forces attacked al-Gurdood market place in central western on Friday.
Al-Gurdood area is situated at the border between South Kordofan and North Kordofan states, south western Omrawaba Town.
The market was looted and scores of people were injured.
Last October, the area was also attacked by the RSF which is involved in war with the Sudanese army since April 2023.
