British police arrests prominent Rapid Support Forces activist, lawyers
The arrested Rapid Support Forces (RSF) activist has encouraged the “Janjaweed militia” to commit genocide, war crines and crimes against humanity, said the Sudanese Lawyers Democratic Front.

The British police arrested on Tuesday one of the RSF activists accusing him of inciting hate speech and war crimes, said the Sudanese Lawyers Democratic Front.
UK’s South Yorkshire police arrested al-Rabie Abdul Moniem who is one of the prominent RSF media activists, said the Front in a statement on Wednesday.
Abdul Moniem is still in custody for investigation into videos he used to circulate inciting hate speech and committing of serious crimes from his safe heaven in the United Kingdom, the Front added.
The Front said Abdul Moniem has exploited the climate of freedom and democracy in the UK to deprive the Sudanese people from such climate and fuel the war that brought woe to the country.
The accused has encouraged the”Janjaweed militia” to commit genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity including rape claiming that women were luring the Janjaweed to commit this heinous act, the Front said.
The Front indicated that Abdul Moniem has travelled to al-Gineina town of West Darfur some months ago and met with the RSF’S second commander Abdul Rahim Dagalo and commander of West Darfur sector Abdul Rahman Jumma who was acussed of assassining the former governor Khamis Abakar.
The Front hailed arrest of Abdul Moniem describing it as “important step” which will help in silencing the extremists who encourage committing of serious crimes and fuel sedition in
Sudan while they are enjoying living in safe places.
