Dozens killed, injured in RSF shelling of Omdurman
At least 10 people were killed and 23 injured when the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces fired artillery shells at a market and residential areas in Omdurman city.

At least 10 people were killed and 23 others injured on Monday when the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) fired artillery shells on Sabreen Market and a number of neighbourhoods in Karari Locality North of Omdurman, the Sudan’s Doctors Network said.
The wounded were taken to al-Nao and Sawaaid hospitals in the city.
The attack came within the recent escalation of fighting in the capital’s three cities of Khartoum, Bahri and Omdurman within the war between the RSF and Sudan Army which broke out in April 2023.
