New evidence on UAE involvement in sending military supplies to RSF, Sudan’s army says
Sudan’s army said the new evidence includes large trucks, 120 mm mortar shells, huge quantities of ammunition and medical supplies.

Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced on Thursday finding of new evidences in Jebel Moya area proving involvement of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in supporting the rival paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
SAF social media platforms circulated videos showing large trucks with UAE number plates on them (Dubai) and investigation proved that these vehicles have come from the Emirates and are used in transporting combat supplies and equipment to the RSF.
Also, 120 mm mortar shells and huge quantities of ammunition have been found in the RSF warehouses, the SAF said, indicating that some of these ammunition and arms containers carry letters and dates and numbers related to the UAE army despite the militias attempts to delete the figures out.
Medical supplies have also been found and date of manufacturing on them indicates continuation of the UAE shipments to the RSF, the army added.
Despite the UAE denial, many regional and international reports affirmed its involvement in supplying the RSF with logistics and military equipment and hence prolonging the war in Sudan.
In January, a UN report said it had credible evidence that the UAE had sent weapons to the RSF “several times per week” via Amdjarass in northern Chad.
