Sudan urges Security Council to take firm stance towards UAE hostile activities
The UAE was no longer a mere indirect supporter of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces but a partner directly participating in the war, Sudan authorities say.

Sudan called on the UN Security Council again to take firm stance towards hostile activities launched by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) against Sudan.
The demand was sent in a letter to the Security Council on Friday as a renewal for the complaint submitted to the council in March.
The letter contained new evidences proving involvement of the UAE in providing military assistance to the RSF.
The new evidences include heavy artillery ammunition containers carrying the UAE name siezed after the recent Jebel Moya battles, the letter said.
The evidences also include large trucks with UAE number plates and newly manufactured drugs.
The letter said there are reports indicating that the UAE recruits mercenaries from various countries to fight alongside the RSF; a tactic used by the Emirates in former military interventions, the letter said.
“The UAE was no longer a mere indirect supporter of the RSF but a partner directly participating in the war”, the letter said accusing the Emirates of adopting a settlement protect based on ethnic discrimination.
Sudan called on the Security Council to condemn, in the strongest terms, the UAE and hold it accountable for all atrocities the Sudanese civilians suffered due to this interference.
