Khartoum: Altaghyeer
Fire exchange between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) intensified on Tuesday in the strategic area of al-Mogran (the Confluence of the White Nile and Blue Nile) in Khartoum where sounds of heavy explosives and shelling were heard while SAF war planes were bombing RSF positions, eyewitnesses said.
The RSF on its part used artillery to target SAF positions in Bahri and Omdurman. The attacks were unleashed from areas in eastern and southern parts of Khartoum.
Clashes between the two sides have also continued in the neighbourhoods surrounding the Armoured Corps in South Khartoum in which light and medium arms were used sending columns of smoke in the skies overlooking the area.
The SAF Air Force carried out several airstrikes early Tuesday on al-Izba, Shumbat and Kafori neighbourhoods of Khartoum Bahri.
Also, SAF’s drones attacked RSF positions near the Sports City in Khartoum.
Yesterday, SAF launched drones attacks at night against several RSF strongholds in al-Munshia neighbourhood and Shari al-Siteen (60 Street) of East Khartoum.
