Indonesia offers $1 million-humanitarian assistance to Sudan

The $1 million-supplies is the third batch of Indonesian humanitarian assistance to Sudan.

Sudan has received 53 tonns of humanitarian assistance from Indonesia including drugs, shelter requirements and therapeutic foods for children.

The $1 million-supplies is the third batch of Indonesian humanitarian assistance to Sudan.

The indonesian assistance has responded to the actual needs of the health sector following the floods and epidemics waves, undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Ismat Mustafa said at receiving the assistance at Port Sudan Airport.

On his part, the Indonesian Deputy Minister of the National Corporation for Disaster Administration emphasised that his country stands with Sudan whenever it needs and beholds it always as sisterly and friendly country despite the geographical distance between them.
