Kuwait denounces attacks on civilians in Gezira State, calls for Sudanese national dialogue
Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed need for reaching a ceasefire in Sudan, facilitating delivery of humanitarian assistance and holding of national dialogue to preserve sovereignty of Sudan.

Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned attacks on civilians in al-Gezira State which led to deaths among civilians including women and children.
The Ministry reiterated in a statement on Monday its call for all Sudanese parties to abide by Jeddah Declaration.
It also stressed the need for reaching a ceasefire agreement, delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need and holding of a national dialogue that will preserve sovereignty of Sudan and realise aspirations of its people.
Sudan is embroidered in a 18 month bloody conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The RSF launched revenge campaigns on the regions of east and central al-Gezira State after its leader in the State, Abu Aagla Kaikl, defected and joined the SAF.
