The Sudanese Armed Forces made significant progress in Sinnar, al-Gezira and North Kordofan States.

Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) regained control over Om al-Gora area, eastern part of al-Gezira State, on Monday and recaptured Sinnar Sugar Factory and nearby villages, announced the Minister of Defence, Gen. Yaseen Ibrahim.
Speaking in a press briefing in Port Sudan, the Minister also revealed that SAF troops have achieved significant progress in the vicinity of Om Rowaba city in North Kordofan State.
The Minister said his press briefing aimed at making public facts about direct involvement of external parties in the war and to provide evidence that these countries supply the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) with the drones it uses in attacks against civilian areas.
The SAF progress came within a major plan to regain control over the main areas controlled by the RSF in the ongoing war between them since 15 April 2023.
